No Justice, but did anyone take a minute to just see how remarkable our world is last night? 🖤

Hey locals! 🎃

It hasn’t slipped my mind this year… engraved pumpkins are such a fun ststement piece and host gift!

Is there any interest in engraved pumpkins again?

I want to say last year they were $25 and local pickup only. Mine lasted well past Thanksgiving, but I did get rid of it before it would have gone bad anyway.

Let me know and I’ll decide by tomorrow! 👏🏼

Seven years. SEVEN. 🥹🤎

Somehow, the two tiny babies who changed our world in ways we never could have imagined are turning seven today.

And while I wish I could bottle up every little moment of their childhood, I’ve come to realize that preserving memories isn’t always about tucking them away for safekeeping.

Sometimes it’s about bringing them into our everyday lives. Giving ourselves the chance to walk past them, smile, and remember just how much has changed.

Because one day, the little things we barely noticed will be the things we’d give anything to experience again.

Happy 7th birthday, Breckton and Brynleigh. You’ve given us more love, laughter, and life than we ever knew possible.

And goodness, what a gift it’s been. 🤎

“Can you engrave metal?” Well, that’s a loaded question. 😂

The short answer? Yes! I have a laser specifically designed for marking and engraving metal.

The longer answer? There’s a little science involved. 👩🏼‍🔬

Different metals react differently to the intense heat of a laser. Depending on the metal, its finish, and the settings used, we can get everything from beautiful dark markings to unexpected colors, changes in texture, or even warping.

See these three Sterling silver ornaments? I have a pink affect on one, silver on another and black on all. SAME fiber machine.

And here’s the tricky part: two items that look almost identical can react completely differently if one has a coating, plating, or protective finish.

That’s why knowing EXACTLY what I’m working with matters so much.

I’m still experimenting, testing settings, and learning how to get consistent results on different materials. And while I’m not quite where I want to be yet, I’m having a whole lot of fun figuring it out! 🤎
