"Dad, why do Adam and Eve have crowns on their heads?, "my 6-year-old asked, as he flipped through the new Kingdom and the King Storybook Bible, fresh from the box on our doorstep.

Whenever books arrive, my boys swarm like seagulls, eager to see if anything is worth their time. They're spoiled with the best titles (their dad runs a bookstore, after all), and if a book doesn't capture them immediately, they move on.
