The Local Wild team. We've been given a work to do. Making pots at the edge of what's possible, growing curiosity towards wonderment.

The team:
Matt is the dreamer of dreams, creating beauty from raw materials by designing, throwing, and bringing life to each and every pot. He brings visions to life; meticulously testing every claybody, glaze and slip. The mastermind behind designing and firing our wood kiln, knowing where each pot will reach it's full potential in the kiln.

Betsy brings her creative brushwork to pots and tiles, faithfully assists our customers by treating them with love and respect, helps fire the wood kiln, all while homeschooling, caring for and feeding everyone.

Cheyenne is the amazing assistant extraordinaire, who always makes sure wild clay is processed, slabs are plentiful, glaze buckets are full, and local materials are being tested. You can follow her Cheyenne Sky

New glaze we've been working on. An off-white semi matte. It is greatly affected by where it is in the wood kiln. In light reduction it can be a brighter white. The heavier the reduction the more off- white. Fly ash can turn it more yellow or green. Betsy likes the name "Vintage." What name would you call it?
