We’re welcoming award-winning YA author Kim Purcell to Midsummer Books for YA in 100 Days, a hands-on writing workshop for both teens with stories to tell and adults writing for a teen audience.
Whether you’re dreaming up your very first novel or trying to finally make some progress on that manuscript, Kim will help you develop an authentic YA voice, build a compelling main character, and figure out what happens next.
You’ll leave with:
- A story premise and a main character, An opening scene to get you started, a100-day plan to help you finish your draft - plus a copy of Write a Novel in 100 Days to keep the momentum going!
Kim brings an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults and 25 years of teaching experience to this workshop, so come ready to learn, write, and give that story of yours a little attention.
