You will also notice that all my fuzzy stick baits have purple 🟪 and blue 🟦 You may ask

WHY PURPLE & BLUE MATTER
In Fuzzy Stick Baits –
Welllllll sparkles her's why!

🟣 PURPLE = THE PRESSURE BREAKER
Mimics bluegill, perch & craw iridescence
Shifts from dark → violet flash as light changes
Triggers bites from pressured NJ/PA bass
Best Conditions:
Stained water • Cloud cover • High-pressure lakes
👉 When green pumpkin stops… purple keeps getting bit.
🔵 BLUE = THE VISIBILITY TRIGGER
Adds contrast without overpowering the bait
Mimics baitfish sheen & bluegill tones
Creates a clear strike target
Best Conditions:
Tannic water • Slight stain • Shallow cover
👉 Blue helps them find it—purple makes them commit.

Now you may ask yourself, why fuzzy baits, well it's quite simple!
Fuzzy baits work well because they create a lot of subtle movement and look “alive” even when they’re barely moving.

The soft strands or tentacles pulse with the slightest action, which can trigger strikes from bass and other fish.

Why they trigger bites?
They add constant micro-action, so the lure seems to breathe or wiggle naturally in the water.

The fuzzy profile can mimic small prey, plankton-like food, or an unfamiliar but tempting target.

They can help on neutral or pressured fish because the bait looks different from the usual hard, smooth lures fish see all the time.

Why anglers like them?

Fuzzy baits are often effective on slower presentations, where the fish has time to inspect them and the tiny movements keep interest high. Some anglers also like them because they’re durable and can be fished in a lot of ways, including dragging, hopping, or dead-sticking.

Simple reason☆

Think of them as a lure that never looks completely still. Even a tiny twitch makes the strands flare and pulse, and that motion is often enough to make a fish commit.
