Sometimes you have to take a step back to see your future. That's exactly what I have been doing the last 6 weeks. It's hard for me to not work and not keep pushing for the next thing, but sometimes it's necessary. Because when you're so focused on your professional goals, you forget to see the personal goals and dreams you make for yourself come true.
Since we've relocated, we have accomplished every goal we've set for ourselves. We became we debt free. We saved money. We bought a house that had everything we could dream up to add to our "dream home" list and in an area that we love. And it all happened so quickly. Never did I imagine that I would be able to have coffee outside by my pool in the middle of a work day and get inspired. Especially only after a few months of starting on this journey. And in taking that time to step back, I was able to set some new goals for the future and dare to dream what the next chapter will look like.

Ho, Ho, Ho, Meeeeeerrrry Christmas! Whether you’re enjoying the day with loved ones or peacefully alone, I hope that you are safe, healthy and doing what you love. Us? We’re spending the day relaxing by the fire with a glass of prosecco and making plans for the new year. It's way different this year with just the three of us. We're used to grandparents, lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. We spend time making tomales, playing games and catching up. This year, my husband and I made cookies, ordered pizza and just relaxed. We miss our families, but having our own Christmas was nice too. How are you spending the holiday?
