A Statement from Culture Craze
I want to address a mistake that I made involving one of our products.
I used artwork on a Jason challenge coin without first verifying that I had the necessary rights to use it commercially. That was my responsibility, and I failed to do so.
Once I learned the artwork belonged to artist Ralf Melevo and had been commissioned by Podium Entertainment, I immediately removed the product from our website, halted further sales, stopped any shipments that could still be stopped, and reached out to Ralf directly. I am also working to contact Podium so this matter can be resolved with the proper rights holders.
I sincerely apologize to Ralf, to Podium, to our customers, and to the He Who Fights with Monsters community. Artists invest tremendous time and talent into their work, and I regret not taking the steps necessary to ensure I had permission before using it.
Culture Craze is a small business, but that does not excuse my mistake. I am implementing a policy that all artwork used on our products will be either original, properly licensed, or used only with written permission from the rights holder.
I understand that trust is earned. My goal now is to make this right with the people affected and to ensure this does not happen again.
Thank you to everyone who has held me accountable and to those who have allowed me the opportunity to correct this mistake.
