Meet Kennedy’s Candles!

If you’re looking for a candle that’s a little different from the usual, be sure to stop by Kennedy’s Candles at the Pittsburg Farmers’ Market!

Kennedy creates 100% soy wax candles, sustainably poured into one-of-a-kind upcycled glassware and finished with beautiful natural pressed flowers.
From unique vessels to delicious scents, each candle has its own personality—and anything in a teacup is a best seller!

Kennedy first started making candles about five years ago while she was still in high school. After taking a break for school, she picked it back up last year and turned her hobby into a business.

When asked what she loves most about the market, her answer says a lot about what makes our market special: the community. Meeting new people, sharing stories, and getting to connect with people in person is her favorite part of being a vendor.

Her advice to anyone thinking about becoming a market vendor?
“Just do it! Don’t overthink it!”

Let’s talk about what that means!

🎨 ARTISTS!
Get signed up! Hahaha! But seriously… Signing up now helps us map the event, organize booth locations, and start sharing all of the talent friends far and wide will find in the Arts District!

🏙️ BUSINESSES!
Start planning how you’ll participate! Maybe you’re staying open late, maybe you’re hosting an artist, maybe you’re offering a workshop… whatever you’ve got planned - we wanna know!

🌎 NON-PROFITS/ORGANIZATIONS
If you’re doin’ cool things in the community, ArtWalk is the perfect place to spread the word! All we ask is that you plan an art-related activity! Think mini canvas painting, paint-a-pot, bookmark bar… whatever sounds like fun! Make sure to sign up so we can get you on the map and on our socials!

We need you! ArtWalk takes a village and we’d love to have you on our team! Sign up on our website for a time slot that works for you!

🚧 Broadway, from 4th - 7th streets will be barricaded for the event, but we encourage everyone to venture beyond the barricades!
