Proof & Parchment is the way for me to bring all of my passions to a one stop shop. It includes my work experience in the public & private sectors along with my side freelance projects from wedding calligraphy to small business branding. I want to be able to showcase all of my work and bring in new projects and opportunities for future collaborations. Balancing a variety of web based projects with free flowing calligraphy ink brings me joy and I can't wait to bring it to others!

kinda chic that I get paid to make people cry over an envelope.

This job is a lot of small, unglamorous things. Ink smudges. Redoing a line six times. Answering emails at 11pm during busy season. But it is also this. Handwriting that means something. Paper that gets kept.

(And okay, maybe a few of those envelopes were addressed to myself. No shame.)

I would not trade it.
