Camp Copeland Studio handcrafts mindful home goods and decor in glass, wool and a series of block prints to help you live well with fewer better things.

Camp Copeland Studio (c.2015) is the collaborative creative lab and production studio of Drew and Alyssa Kail. They make contemporary home goods and personal accessories, primarily in glass and wool, though they love to experiment with new designs and play with new materials. An in process look at our newest linocut print inspired by Drew's love of his Moka Pot. Seriously, ask him about it sometime and you'll see him light up like he just had his second espresso of the day. All four blocks are carved and we are ready to start printing next week. Seeing the printed image come together color by color over days or even weeks is something we truly love about the printmaking process. As you may know, we print by hand with a barren and not a press making each print handmade from start to finish. Any moka pot lovers out there? post in the comments! ☕😃❤️

We’re sharing three simple vignettes that prove less really can be more. Slide 1: Linocut Block Print — the black and white pattern and texture of the print pair well with the sage colored wall and green plant, creating a space that is both calm and collected. Slide 2: Kiln Glass Bowls — colorful glass bowls add luminous effects and soft scale to neutral surfaces; they anchor the space without shouting. Opening on Friday, in celebration of 25th birthday, “Gathered Locally” opens. This exhibition includes 100+ artists from PGCs community, including two pieces from us! Drew’s kilnformed “bunny” and Alyssa’s stained glass panels will be on view. Stop by the reception on Friday night or at your convenience over the next couple of months!

Our next opportunity to shop in person is at the Winter Artists’ Market tris Saturday 12/13 for I’m 10a-4p! We look forward to this event every year and with 40 artists selling their wares, you’re sure to find the perfect gift. Seriously, the lineup is stellar!
