Silver coins… can you clean them? yes. Is it recommended??? No. Here’s why…

Silver is the most reflective metal in the world. It’s shiny, bright, and reflective. When dull, it looks like anything else. “Dull”

Cleaning silver coins can reduce the numistic value dramatically. Not the precious metal content. Basically aka melt value.

Cleaning is not popular in the coin community. People want original luster, original “toning” or patina.

If you even go further to the grading side, cleaned coins will not “straight grade” will go into a “details holder” and designated as cleaned.

Collectors tend to avoid those. But the budget collectors looking for a key date coin with that designation may purchase one.

Junk silver… usually pre-1964 or older, halves quarters dimes, common dates in circulated conditions have no numismatic value. Cleaning them won’t matter. As they go for their melt.

While they may “look better” cleaning normally does not add value. It subtracts value.

Through the 3rd party graders like NGC, PCGS, they offer conservation services that they do “dipping” that’s market acceptable. I would only trust that.

But in general, cleaning is not recommended! Silver will tarnish much faster. And will decrease any numastic value.

Video games! I finally started on them! Starting out to get systems tested, fixed, paired, and put together!

These are the are the ones I accumulated over the years.

When these go, I will start liquidating my personal ones. I have many systems, rare themed ones, like the golden N64 from toys r us. And many many rare titles for many platforms. And even factory sealed games. Like mega man 64.

If you are looking for extra parts to a certain one. I might have it!

Only brand I do not have is X-Box. I have heavy stock with NES, Super NES, and N64. These are going fast. I got requests already for systems.

Grand opening of our shop is scheduled for early may.

Greetings! been a long while for a post, hope everyone is staying warm!!! this is a long post, regarding some updates:

On JRP coins, no new listings lately, just some old listings still up. I will upload new listings soon, with different items. more on the sports side.

On great Great Eggs, 116 new listings, with all relistings will go live on the 14th. We are expanding to the crystals and gems side soon! we will post updates on this page and Great Eggs as soon as we can. Stay tuned for some exciting things!

Shipping Costs:

They are increasing from the USPS. Something we don't like to see as small business owners. as of now, we aren't increasing out costs. We are working with J.R. Preston to make some things more cost effective for our BINs. We will update as we can.

Both stores as of now are keeping costs at the same.
