Uneven cooling performance is often a warning sign that something inside the cooling tower needs attention.

When one area of a tower is doing more of the work than another, a few common issues are worth investigating:

đź’§ Poor water distribution
Clogged, damaged, or improperly operating nozzles can prevent water from being distributed evenly across the fill.

🌬️ Airflow restrictions
Damaged components, debris, or other obstructions can interfere with consistent airflow through the tower.

⚙️ Mechanical equipment issues
Problems with fans, drives, motors, or related components can affect airflow and overall tower performance.

🔧 Worn or damaged fill

🎉 Celebrating 5 Years with Darean Sauceda!

Today, we’re recognizing Darean Sauceda, Administrative Assistant at our Houston office, for five years with WTX Supply & Fabrication.

Darean’s journey at WTX is a great example of what growth can look like when you’re willing to learn and take on new challenges. Over the past five years, he’s done a little bit of everything, from mowing the lawn and helping with inventory to sales, social media, photography, and now accounting.

Along the way, Darean also reached an exciting milestone outside of WTX, earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University-Victoria. We’re proud to see him putting that education and years of hands-on experience to work as he continues building his career.

Outside the office, Darean enjoys hitting the gym, spending time with his girlfriend and family, trying new restaurants and foods, and exploring new places. Sushi is currently at the top of his list.

Darean, thank you for five years of hard work, adaptability, and commitment to the WTX team. We appreciate everything you’ve contributed and look forward to seeing where the next chapter takes you.
