Selling my call duck breeders to make things easier on my husband having to clean my coops during my pregnancy. My breeding business will need to be on hold until next year.

There are 3 dna females and one male as well as one mixed breed female who must go with them. I will not separate. I also have a really nice producers pride coop to go with them as well.

We have a few tractor supply shipment rescues that I was given today.

1. Bb game bantam
2. Mille fleur booted bantam
3. Coco espresso
4. White silkie

Mostly they have splay leg and maybe some vitamin deficiency but seemed to do well after splinting and vitamins.

They will be up for adoption in ten days if they make it. Send me a message if you’d like them!

Helen is a 26 year-old A Morgan mix breed, she is now fully blind, she does not like to be stalled and loves to be in an open outdoor pen, she is currently only on hay and grass. She is a pretty easy keeper, I would say she’s not best to be written due to her age and it’s been probably four years since I last rode. She isn’t great for her feet but will stand with patience. She doesn’t like to get in trailers but other wise is super friendly . She is a low man on the pecking order and tends to get bullied by other horses which is why I don’t have another horse with her. She is located in Pearl city IL

Her transport and vetting will be paid for by donations for an adopter. She would be a great babysitter for foals or a pasture pet for petting zoo or companion for small animals etc. please message me so we can find her a home! She still has many years left

A lot of people on this page don’t realize that I also rescue rehab re train and adopt horses out. I usually take on 2-4 a year completely out of pocket and usually from not the best is situations. Some behavioral, medical or just unwanted horses end up in my possession.

Last January I took on a Mustang for a client who realized she didn’t have the time for her…so I bought her from her to continue her training for free and adopt her out. Two days ago she went to her new home…I gave very specific guidance on how to work with her, acclimate her and bond with her. That guidance was not followed. The person who adopted her is extremely kind and ethical and honored the no kill pen/auction contract and allowed me to purchase her back. Her adoption fee was $2,000. I had to take out a loan to get her back.

I never want anyone to feel bad about returning a horse and I’m always very open and honest about the horses ability and where they are in there training. This horse means a lot to me and I will be probably selling some of my grow out pullets I kept back for breeding to pay this off. I used the funds I got for this adoption to off set her vet bills as well as towards my high risk pregnancy medical bills and now I need to find a way to off set that. My breeding pens will have to take a back seat for the next season which breaks my heart to share.

Every horse I take on stays with me until they are safe for adoption. Because of this incident I do not feel comfortable adopting her out again due to the trauma she will have sustained from this situation, it’s going to take me another year to fix this. I will have some unique birds posting in the next week or so.

Just poppin in for an update. Hatching has slowed down. I have 7 mossy eggers available and I will have a select few Burberry homestead chicks available in the next week.

I am focusing on growing out what I have to see type and I will have some possible available grow outs. If there is something specific you are looking for please let me know. I am happy to hatch out pre orders.
