I will put all of my cards on the table. ⁣

I like Kamala Harris more than Joe Biden. I’ve had close friends that have worked for her. For her campaign, for her as VP, and when she was a Senator. ⁣

And at least she is fully alive and has her entire brain and body to run for President and BE President - compared to Biden, who clearly no longer has his neurological integrity anymore. ⁣

But I will not vote for her, or anyone, based off of her iTunes playlist, or a 40 year old photo from an HBCU, or her willingness to play on Black emotions. ⁣

➡️ At this point in my life I only care about POLICY. ⁣
⁣
It’s beautiful to have people that look like you in power. Truly. ⁣
⁣
But it’s actually PAINFUL to have people that look like you in power that don’t truly have the policies that help your people in mind. ⁣

Joe Biden, like most politicians, mainly made promises that he didn’t even work hard to attempt to keep. He didn’t fight for the George Floyd Act when Democrats controlled the entire government. He didn’t fight to substantively protect voting rights or women’s rights. Then Democrats lost the House, which simply allowed them to then say “Well, if we controlled the House we would give you the sun and the moon,” but when they did, they did virtually nothing. ⁣

I only have 2 things that I care about regarding Kamala Harris:⁣
⁣
1. Will she SUBSTANTIVELY change America’s policies on Gaza from supporting open genocide and war crimes that have slaughtered 50,000 innocent people? And I don’t simply mean give speeches saying that it “breaks her heart” when it’s American bombs and money doing the slaughtering.⁣

2. Will she ACTUALLY hold corrupt and violent police in America accountable for their crimes against African Americans and other marginalized people? Neither Obama or Biden did this in any credible way. Every criminal justice scholar agrees. ⁣

🚨🚨🚨 And here is the hard truth for me. If she is going to be a Zionist, who openly supports what the HIGHEST COURTS IN THE WORLD call war crimes, and genocide, and forced starvation…⁣

I will not support her. And will openly call her out for it. ⁣

As I will on police accountability. ⁣
