Tonight’s sky invites us into a powerful moment of illumination, release, and change.

The Full Moon in Pisces arrives alongside a lunar eclipse, amplifying the emotional and intuitive energy of the Full Moon. Pisces asks us to move beyond what can be logically explained and pay attention to what we feel, sense, dream, and know.

Eclipse energy can reveal what has been hidden. With Uranus adding an element of surprise and awakening, realizations may arrive unexpectedly. Something may suddenly make sense. A pattern may become impossible to ignore. A direction you weren’t considering may begin to reveal itself.

Festival of Hecate • August 21

At the crossroads, we honor Hecate.

Hecate is an ancient Greek goddess of thresholds, crossroads, torches, keys, protection and transformation. She is a guardian of liminal spaces—the places between what was and what is yet to come—and a guide through times of uncertainty and change.

A note about the date:
August 21 is a modern Pagan/Hecatean observance, not a fixed festival date from ancient Greece. Hecate was honored in several ways in the ancient world, including Hecate’s Deipnon, observed monthly at the end of the lunar cycle. Modern spiritual traditions have developed additional days to celebrate and honor her, including the August observance recognized by many contemporary practitioners.

Whether you approach Hecate through ancient tradition or modern practice, her symbolism offers a powerful invitation:

Release what no longer serves you.
Reflect on the paths before you.
Seek guidance when the way is uncertain.
Trust yourself as you step across the threshold.
