This 8' × 12' Nantucket in San Francisco was transformed into a backyard office—a quiet workspace surrounded by the garden.

During the day, the glass brings in natural light. In the evening, the redwood framing and warm interior lighting give the space an entirely different character.

A little piece of England in Portland. 🌿

After moving from Bath, England to Portland, Gillian Carson set out to transform an overgrown garden into an English-inspired kitchen garden.

At the heart of it is her custom 10' × 16' Sturdi Built Tudor greenhouse—painted white, set on a traditional brick base, and designed to capture the character of the English greenhouses she remembered from home.

More than a beautiful centerpiece, it's a working part of the garden, where Gillian starts the vegetables and herbs that eventually make their way into the beds outside.
