Making candles this holiday season to raise funds for apartment move in costs for myself , cats and husband
😍We made it back to Michigan😍
However we’re struggling as we had to leave portland oregon suddenly without much money .
❤️I would like to make candles and sell them to get money up for the move in costs for an apartment.
We need around 1500$ to move in . Application fee/deposit/first months rent(the complex i am woring with is running a special that takes the deposit amount off of the first months rent for move in and December rent is free)
❤️Currently we are living out of motels and hotels which is very expensive, but it is better then sleeping in the cold.
❤️ I am available to deliver them within the Grand Rapids city limit, or i can do meet ups.
❤️As far as materials i have what i need to make them - all of my scents have been kept safe in a climate and temp controlled environment here in Michigan since july , so I have a wide variety of scents I can have made.
As for new jars, they are all in a storage unit on the west coast.
❤️So I will thrift my jars like I did when I originally started, I’m also willing to take your favorite reusable candle jar and hand pour into that if you’d like!
Back story: my husband got an offer from his employer to relocate across country to the west coast, he took up the offer and not even 2 months later we headed out that way with our three cats and belongings. His employer was unable to keep their promises which put us in a scary bad spot almost 3000 miles away, we spent months being on the road and eventually settled in a downtown portland in a month to month 300 square foot studio apartment, as things got worse outside of our scope of control , we made the decision to move back to Michigan.
We have applied for state of emergency relief and so far have received healthcare coverage from that but funding could take 30 days or more to recive from DHHS for state of emergency relief.
