A friend reached out recently with an image of a cup full of seashells and asked, “Does this look like a cupcake to you?”

I said, “Yeah.”

She said, “Great. Can you paint it?” 😂

And just like that, a seashell cupcake was born. 🐚🧁🎨

Its new home will be Craft Cafe, opening soon! I can’t wait to see it there. 💕

Well, this lobster got a makeover, and I’m over here grinning like I just won the seafood lottery. 🦞🎨

From the beginning, I had this little voice telling me to stripe this piece, even after I’d finished it with “I’m Yours” behind the lobster. I loved it, but apparently not everyone was picking up what I was putting down. 😂

And for once, I was actually nervous to mess up a painting! But then I reminded myself… April, it’s just paint. So today I grabbed my brushes, gave the lobster a little attitude adjustment, and went for it.
