It’s only the start of the Summer break and I’m already seeing “funny” posts about how moms can’t wait to send their kids back to school.

It breaks my heart.

So shoutout to all of you that are thrilled to be home with your kids right now. To get all that time together to connect and love and treasure the moments.

Also, even if you’re “joking,” I promise you your kids hear and see you acting like you don’t want them around. They notice. And it hurts. 💔

I have not maintained this blog, but think about starting it up again. 12.5 years into Motherhood and I'm still a very tired mommy. I thought motherhood got easier as they get older. So naïve! I'm sure lots of moms think this when they are in the throws of toddlerhood.

Would you read a blog by a tired homeschooling mom trying to do the best for her kids? We are still "trying" to use the Waldorf method, but it really didn't work out that way.

I'm wrapping up my 5th year homeschooling! I can't believe it's been five years as this as my "new normal."

Every day is a gift and a challenge, but let's keep it real. This s**t is HARD.
