The Purse Project A project in its beginning stages, hoping to bring encouragement to women in need by providing them with something essential to every woman, a purse.

DID YOU KNOW: Our local women's shelter has been keeping a full house lately. Many times when these women come through they are empty handed and in desperate need of a pick-me-up. I am working on an idea in cooperation with Family Violence Prevention to provide these ladies with a gently used purse containing a few things like hygiene products, snacks, kleenex, and other useful items upon their ar

rival. If anyone has any purses or items they would like to donate I would be so appreciative!! Please share in Lawrence, Independence and the surrounding counties. Contact myself for any questions or donations! At this time we are only accepting small items, no second hand clothing please. All clothing donations may be taken to the Fresh Start Resale Shop in Batesville.
