As most of you know, this is my son, Braden. We’re out here at Phoenix Children’s in Glendale today. Every six months, this is our reality—coming in for his routine blood work and checkups to make sure everything is still A-OK.

Every time we come here, the memories come back. But the biggest reminder is always this: Braden literally wouldn't be here with us today if it wasn’t for ordinary people who choose to donate blood.
There are so many other kids and patients out there right now who need that same fighting chance.

Give Blood, Be a Hero! 🩸🏒 Braden is healthy, thriving, and cancer-free today because of blood donors just like you.

When Braden was 5, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Along with 6 months of intense chemo, he needed over 30 blood transfusions to win his fight. Now, he’s 9 years old, back on the ice playing hockey, and celebrating over 3 years cancer-free!
