Who would have thought that two aerators wouldn’t be enough to keep up with demand? Maybe it’s time to add a third next year!

Forestry work and last-minute projects are keeping our skid steers and excavators busy, too. The cool mornings and great weather are perfect for knocking out those projects before the snow flies.

LATE AUGUST = FOOD PLOT TIME!

Thinking about putting in a fall food plot? Now is a great time to get the ground prepared and seed in the ground.
Blue Hill Rental has added a new food plot setup to the fleet:
- Bobcat T66 Compact Track Loader
- 72" Virnig Tiller
- 72" Brillion Seeder

The Virnig tiller is great for working up existing plots, breaking up compacted soil, incorporating vegetation and creating a clean seedbed.
Then put the Brillion Seeder to work for consistent seed placement and good seed-to-soil contact.

Common late-August food plot options include:
• Brassicas — turnips, radishes, r**e
• Oats
• Winter rye
• Winter wheat
• Clover and cool-season blends

Late August is an excellent window to get many of these fall plots established and growing before hunting season. With good soil moisture and favorable weather, there's still plenty of growing season ahead.
Whether you're putting in a brand-new plot or freshening up an existing one, this setup can make the job considerably faster and easier.

Not every job is a construction project.

Today our equipment helped prepare a final resting place for a beloved horse through a grant provided by the Minnesota Horse Welfare Coalition.

We hadn't heard of the organization before today, but we were impressed by the work they do to support horse owners and equine welfare throughout Minnesota.

We're thankful to have equipment that can help families during difficult moments as well as tackle everyday projects.
