A little about how we do things at Blue Hill Rental.

We're not a big rental company, and we're not trying to be.

We're a small, locally owned business built around a simple principle: Treat people the way we'd want to be treated.

We don't aim to have every piece of equipment under the sun. Instead, we focus on having reliable, well-maintained machines, with multiples of our most popular equipment.

We believe in fair pricing, flexible scheduling, and not nickel-and-diming people over every gallon of fuel, minor scratch, or extra hour.

We know projects don't always go according to plan. Weather changes, things break, and jobs take longer than expected. We get it, and we do our best to work with our customers.

At the end of the day, we're not just here to rent equipment. We're here to help people get things done.

Our skid steers and brush mowers have been staying busy clearing shooting lanes, trails, and overgrown brush ahead of opener!

LATE AUGUST = FOOD PLOT TIME!

Thinking about putting in a fall food plot? Now is a great time to get the ground prepared and seed in the ground.
Blue Hill Rental has added a new food plot setup to the fleet:
- Bobcat T66 Compact Track Loader
- 72" Virnig Tiller
- 72" Brillion Seeder

The Virnig tiller is great for working up existing plots, breaking up compacted soil, incorporating vegetation and creating a clean seedbed.
Then put the Brillion Seeder to work for consistent seed placement and good seed-to-soil contact.

Common late-August food plot options include:
• Brassicas — turnips, radishes, r**e
• Oats
• Winter rye
• Winter wheat
• Clover and cool-season blends

Late August is an excellent window to get many of these fall plots established and growing before hunting season. With good soil moisture and favorable weather, there's still plenty of growing season ahead.
Whether you're putting in a brand-new plot or freshening up an existing one, this setup can make the job considerably faster and easier.
