If you've been following along, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves!

We're Kara & Steve, the faces behind Set the Scene Event Rentals. While event rentals aren't a new concept, we've noticed more and more businesses popping up online with AI-generated content, stock photos, and no real people behind the screen.

That's not us and that is not our goal as a business.

We're local, we're real, and we're right here in the Quakertown area. We've spent years working in and around community events, fundraisers, festivals, sponsorships, and event planning. We've seen firsthand how much work goes into creating memorable experiences, and we started Set the Scene to offer affordable rental options that make those events a little easier.

Well… we were just about ready to open bookings for spring/summer… and then Glamazon had other plans.

A couple of our key items (including the popcorn and cotton candy machines) didn’t make it to us, so we’re currently “pending investigation” while they try to figure out what happened during delivery.

Hoping to have everything sorted out next week 🤞

Trying to look at it as one of those start with a problem, only go up from here situations… but if anyone spots a missing popcorn machine out in the wild, feel free to send it back our way.
