Amazing what 2200° in a kiln can do! There’s some pieces I’m really excited about in this load. Like that large bowl on the bottom that I re-fired. It turned out so much better this time! I have one more glaze firing to do on Saturday, and then I’ll take a little break before I get back to making on the wheel again.

You win some, you lose some 🤷🏼‍♀️ Some glaze experiments turn out, and others need a re-fire and hope for better results. I had a vision in my head of what it was supposed to look like, and it fell short of my expectations, as seen and heard with my reaction! I will add a few more layers of glaze and re-fire this weekend 🤞🏻

I’m in my home state of Minnesota this week to visit friends and family. I brought this small vase with me to give to my mom. My parents have quite a few different flowers in their yard so my nephew and I had fun making a small bouquet for it.
