Happy Friday! Sorry I’ve been a little quite on here lately. I had an unplanned surgery a few weeks ago so I’ve been focusing on resting and recovering but I’m ready to get back out and see you! Tomorrow I’ll be at with from 10-3. This will be my last market in NC for awhile so I hope to see you there!

Happy Earth Day 🌍
I had the opportunity to spend the day outside helping to clean up Oxon Creek and Oxon Run park.

I participated in an initiative with The Green Scheme and The Well at Oxon Run.

The Well is an intergenerational farm and community wellness space in the Congress Heights neighborhood of Ward 8, in Southeast, D.C. Jaren Hill Lockridge, Director of The Well gave us a tour and explained the history of the neighborhood and the project. Her passion for the work being done here and the community is so inspiring. I was particularly moved by the project’s mission to provide a safe space for Black women to be their authentic selves.
