A little rugged, a little ancient, and completely one of a kind.

This solid copper shield cuff is individually cut, hammered, shaped, and finished by hand. The broad front of the cuff features a richly layered verdigris patina, creating an organic mix of turquoise, blue-green, deep brown, and exposed copper tones. No two patinas develop exactly alike, making this piece truly unique.

A few of my patina projects just got their first coat of wax. Once the wax dries I'll buff them out and they will be ready to go. Sweet little lily pads and aspen leaf drops for earrings, cuff bracelets in copper, brass and bronze and rings in copper and brass. Reveal of the finished jewelry coming soon!

These came out beautifully! In my mind, I thought they would be uniform but there is so much variation in the color and texture. I'm going to see what waxing and buffing does to them. Hope it doesn't remove all the rich color! More to be revealed in the coming days! Don't forget get to follow me to see the final pieces. Trying my hand at ammonia patina. All these items are pure copper. Vinegar, salt and some ammonia help create the vibrant blue color. Keep an eye out for the reveal in a few days! Don't forget to follow so you won't miss it.
