🦋 Hello, June! 🦋

Our new calendar is here, and we're so excited for a beautiful month of connection, creativity, and play! This June, our themes celebrate community, kindness, love, and self-expression. Through heartwarming stories, hands-on art, and playful discovery, our gatherings offer a safe space for children and caregivers to connect, grow, and celebrate what makes each of us unique.

🗓️ Here’s a glance at what’s coming up:

🦋Wednesdays at 10 AM: Toddler Storytime & Art Exploration (Look for the little butterfly icons on the calendar!)

🎨NEW THIS MONTH! Books & Brushes: A Storytime and Creative Workshop for ages 6–10 at 2:00 PM on Wednesdays, starting June 10th! More details coming soon! 📚

🎉THE WEEK OF JUNE 17th: Summer Reading Program Kickoff Parties! We are celebrating all week long across all of our storytime sessions. Come celebrate summer, love for books, and sign up for our very own summer reading initiative! More details to come.

✨Fridays at 5 PM: Play, Learn, and Grow at Baby Hour Storytime!

June 12th: Learn the basics of Baby ASL and how it can transform communication skills in toddlerhood.

June 19th: Kicking off our Baby Summer Reading Program!

June 26th: A special Dad Meetup and Storytime!

🌈Pride Events! Catch us out and about for our special weekend Pride Storytimes at Loudoun Pride this weekend (June 6th), and back at our home base, Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe, on June 20th!

Little snails on a big adventure! 🏵️

It was so fun seeing our little snail paintbrushes in action! The way all the little hands held and gripped it was proof of my design for little hands and I couldn't be happier!

All the little snails are on their way to new homes to keep exploring their world.

🐌💖If you weren't able to make it today I have a very limited amount of snails remaining! You can buy one for $5, you can use both water or paint with this little cutie!

Weekend Storytime this SUNDAY!! 🐚✨

Come join us for a magical morning of community and creativity! We are gathering this Sunday at 10:00 AM at the Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe

We’ll be reading a fun story about a little snail with big dreams, moving our bodies to some fun music, and then diving into a sensory art session!

The kiddos will be painting a "snail trail" picture using handmade paintbrush snails that I custom-made just for them. They are so incredibly cute—I can't wait for you to see them!

Spaces are limited to keep the session cozy, so grab your spot today!

✨ Big, exciting updates for our Storytime community! ✨

Over the last few months, watching your little ones explore, create, and connect during our story times has been the absolute joy of my week. From a room buzzing with busy bees to painting with that sweet toddler reckless abandon, we have built such a beautiful, magical community together. 🎨🌿

As many of you know, for a long time I have personally covered the cost of our supplies, custom art pieces, and materials completely out of pocket, simply because I love creating these magical experiences for your families. Thanks to all of you, our sessions have been filling up almost every week, which is incredible! But as our community has grown, the costs of prepping those handcrafted items and custom art kits have grown, too.

To make sure I can keep bringing you the absolute highest quality, research-backed child development experiences—while keeping our circle sustainable—we are officially transitioning to a ticketed booking model moving forward.

We know this is a change, but the quality, care, and creativity I have always poured into every single event will always stay the same… I mean, really, it can only get better with your support and love! 🤍

To make this super easy for everyone, everything is moving to a seamless online booking platform!

Regular Storytime's will be $10 per child, and our sweet Baby Hour sessions will be $5.

When you save your spot, you'll fill out a quick child profile questionnaire so I can tailor the magic specifically to your child’s unique interests and needs.
