🌿✨ THE MAGIC BEGINS THIS WEEK! ✨🌿
Are you ready to turn summer reading into an adventure? Tomorrow, we are officially kicking off our Enchanted Summer Reading Program! 📖
We know that summer gets busy, and traditional reading logs with giant minute goals can feel a little intimidating. That’s why we’ve completely reimagined our program to make it joyful, cozy, and pressure-free for ages 0–10—with a touch of nostalgic magic!
🗺️ How the Adventure Works:
Instead of tracking hours, kids will follow a whimsical, winding path of 50 stepping stones that leads straight to a hidden Fairy Door. Along the way, they can branch off on fun "Side Quests" (like reading inside a cozy blanket fort or reading under a full moon) to earn a special fairy key!
🗝️ The Token & Key Exchange:
* Weekly Magic: Attend our weekly storytimes to receive a Golden Storytime Token!
* Unlock the Chest: Exchange 3 Gold Tokens for a Fairy Key.
* Claim Your Treasure: Each Fairy Key opens our Enchanted Treasure Chest, which is filled to the brim with age-appropriate prizes like art kits, small toys, nature trinkets, and more!
Parents, We Promise This is Completely Doable:
👉 50 books over an 8-week summer is about 6 books a week. For our littlest explorers, that’s just one cozy picture book before bed! For older readers, each stone can represent a short chapter or 20 minutes of independent/family reading. Once your reader colors their way to the very end of the trail, they'll unlock their final summer prize! 🗝️💎
🧭 A Note for Our Older Explorers (Ages 7–10):
Don't rush ahead to the finish line too fast! The secret to unlocking the most magic this summer is pacing your journey. By focusing on steady, daily reading rather than speeding through your trail all at once, you will earn way more weekly attendance tokens—which means way more fairy keys and extra chances to open the Enchanted Treasure Chest! Slow and steady wins the quest. 🐢✨
