As of May 15, 2012, the Back Door Frame Shop permanently closed. Ron has retired but continues the commercial hanging of pictures and will likely work on special projects in the industry.

The auction of the Gallery went well. Now, it's time to close the shop. We thought the frame shop would have a new owner, but nope! Sorry! All current projects are being completed now. All framing supplies and shop equipment is being liquidated beginning Thursday, May 3rd. Contact me for complete listing. Visa, MasterCard, checks and cash gladly accepted. Time to cut bait and move on to a new fishing hole called retirement!

Time is short! On Sunday, the 22nd, we will be having the final liquidation of all the art formerly in our West River Gallery on 7th Street. Much of it is listed in the virtual gallery on our web page www.backdoorframeshop.com There are literally 100's of great pieces. I will be finishing up projects in the frame shop for the next week or so, then will be closing that too unless a new owner steps up. The shop has had a very busy last four months. I hate to quit when things are so good but there is no time like the present. We will be completely out of the building by May 15th, unless someone steps up. Questions - call me at 355-9730. We welcome old friend, Kim ostlund back to the Rapid City arts community. It was her idea to bring the Art Walks to downtown Rapid City back at the turn of the century and before September 11,2001 when the economy and the world seemed to drop off the edge. We are glad that the economy is back and with it Kim Ostlund on Haines Ave.
