Did you know Albert Einstein was also fascinated by art and music? He began playing the violin as a child and continued playing throughout his life. He often said that music helped him think creatively- and he especially loved Mozart. 🎶

Einstein once described his relationship with music by saying that if he hadn't been a physicist, he would probably have been a musician.🎻✨

Welcome Artist of the month, Luann Collins. Luann is a self-taught oil painter based in Rapid City, South Dakota, who has spent the last 20 years translating her love of nature onto canvas. What began as a desire to bring beautiful artwork into her own home grew into a lifelong passion for capturing the places and moments that inspire her.

Working primarily in an impressionistic style, Luann paints nature inspired landscapes with bold yet peaceful strokes, creating scenes that evoke serenity , calm and a sense of escape. Her work draws from both real-life observation and photographs, allowing her to capture not only the beauty of a landscape, but the feeling of being there.

Though each painting, Luann hopes to give viewers more than something beautiful to look at, she invites the to pause, wander, and imagine themselves within the landscape.
