Lead Retail Associate — The Teal Box
Do you love talking to people? Are you the person who walks into a room and instantly brings the energy up? Do you believe a genuine smile can change someone’s day?
The Teal Box is looking for a Lead Retail Associate who is outgoing, upbeat, reliable, and ready to help create the fun, welcoming experience our customers expect.
We are a small, personality-driven shop, and the person in this role will be a big part of creating the vibe. You are representing The Teal Box.
The most important requirement?
You have to LOVE people! Smiling is part of the dress code! We’re looking for authentic, enthusiastic, and genuine excitement to interact with our customers every shift!
This role is a great fit for someone who:
* Is confident working independently and taking ownership of the store
* Must have 3 years of previous retail experience and leadership experience
* Is organized, detail-focused, and follows through
* Can multitask while keeping a fun, welcoming environment
* Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems
* Has weekend availability - This is a weekend position
* Loves connecting with customers and creating memorable shopping experiences
The Teal Box vibe:
We’re a little sassy, a little spicy, and definitely not your typical gift shop. We sell funny, unique, and sometimes slightly unhinged gifts — and we want someone who understands that our personality is part of what makes us special.
Schedule: Approximately 25 hours/week, weekend shifts included
Pay: $17.50-$20.00 DOE
