I need help!! I’ve made so many pickles the last few days, however, one jar I opened to test… wasn’t crunchy! 😫 So, I’m experimenting, but need advice. What do you use to make your pickles crunchy when water bath canning?!? In my last canning I did 3 jars with a fresh grape leaf and in the other jars I used Ball’s pickle crisp. Any advice is appreciated, this is my first year making pickles.

The pickles I put in the fridge are yummy and crunchy. But the pickles I water bath canned are mushy. Looking for experienced water bath canners that can give me any tips and advice! Thank you!! 💚

This morning I went out early to enjoy a peaceful nature serenaded garden while harvesting herbs and cleaning up plants. 🌱 What I ended up actually doing was learning. 💡

As I walked around admiring all that was blooming and growing, I observed. I am constantly learning everyday new things about growing herbs, vegetables and fruit. I’m amazed at how it all grows and all that I still have to learn. I love being in the garden. It is therapeutic to me and I enjoy the peace that comes when I’m able to spend quiet time with God in the garden. The fact that He too planted a garden (Genesis 2:8) reminds me He is the ultimate teacher I need to be learning from. 💚

What questions do you have when it comes to gardening? I’d love to help answer them! ☺️

Meet our chickens. Say hello to Pecan! She is our most gentle and kind chicken. She will let you pick her up anytime and love on her and carry her around. She is an all around favorite! Pecan is a Cream Legbar and we can tell her apart from the others like her by her super funky mohawk and white “eyebrows”. She is always ready for a close up and snuggles! 💚

Meet our chicks!! Say hello to Nugget! She is our fluffy little bearded chick! This is my husbands “chicken” (AKA the chicken we dedicated as his 🤣🤣) and funny enough has a beard like him! 😂 She is an Olive Egger (I think 🤔 lol) and easy to tell her apart from the other chicks like her because of her beard and a few brown feathers mixed in with the gray!
