Your mahjong group chat has discussed enough things. It’s time to discuss this.

Grab your people and take the game on the road with us to Urbanna for a fall weekend where the best part may just be that you don’t have to plan a thing.

We’ve taken care of the room, the food, the mahjong, the ch*****ne shopping, the evening fun…you just have to get yourselves there.

And before you think, “Oh, I’m probably not good enough for a mahjong retreat…” — you are.

This weekend isn’t about how fast you play or how long you’ve been playing. Whether you learned recently or have been playing for years, you’re welcome. The only requirement is that you know how to play independently, as there will not be instruction during the weekend.

Come with your foursome. Come with one friend. Or come on your own. You already know you have mahjong in common with everyone there — we’ll take it from there.

One of the best ways to get better at mahjong? Practice figuring out what everyone else might be doing.

We’re giving you TWO exposures and a little homework:

Don’t just guess. Look at the card and see how many possibilities you can find.

This is a great exercise for training your eye to recognize exposures faster when you’re sitting at the table in a real game.

Never touched a tile? Want to level up your game? Got a kiddo ready to learn? We’ve got you.

If learning Mahj is where we started, gathering is what Let’s Mahj has turned into.

Club is our heartbeat. It’s where friendships form, new players find their people, and week after week we get reminded this little game is about so much more than the tiles.

And there are more ways to gather now than ever—memberships, Let’s Read, Let’s Dish, special events, getaways and whatever fun idea we dream up next.
