I absolutely love seeing the spaces where people create and this one is mine. 🌸

It’s a bit of a pretty little mess, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love creating surrounded by my favorite things because they inspire me every single day. My home is filled with color, with pink sprinkled everywhere, along with vintage treasures, floral finds, and all the little pieces that make me smile.

One of the hardest parts of what I do is deciding what gets to stay with me and what makes its way to the shop… but honestly, that’s part of the fun. I love discovering beautiful old things, giving them new life, and sending them off to someone who will treasure them just as much as I have. Every piece has a story, and I love knowing it gets to begin a new chapter in a new home.

🌸Cute table alert! Perfect for Mahjong🌸I’m completely obsessed with finding little pieces of furniture and giving them a fresh new life. Chairs, tables, stools, plant stands… you name it! I love painting them, adding beautiful fabrics, decoupaging them with vintage florals, and creating charming one-of-a-kind pieces. Check out these adorable little metal tables with vintage floral makeovers! They are my latest creations and they’ve become favorites as Mahjong drink tables for game nights, and I absolutely love that idea! They’re also perfect as plant stands, bedside tables, side tables, or extra seating when you need it. What would you use one for?

Happy Father’s Day from Always In Bloom!
While I often share my flowery side, I also have a soft spot for colorful, kitschy treasures that are sure to capture a dad’s heart. Many of these special finds make their way to my space at Vixen Hill Vintage, and I’ve put together a little Father’s Day lookbook for you to enjoy.

Each piece is thoughtfully chosen with love. I’m especially drawn to collections featuring horses, classic cars, vintage barware, brass accents, books, and so much more. Truthfully, I often find myself sourcing pieces that I know my husband would love. He does have wonderful taste, after all! Most of all, I choose items that spark joy and tell a story.

✨🌸 What a magical day at Princesses In The Park! The park was filled with sunshine, laughter, and the sweetest little princes and princesses. From enchanting performances and storybook parades to smiling families and happy children, every moment felt like something out of a fairytale.

A heartfelt thank you to Sweet Bean Events for inviting me to share my flowery finds and vintage treasures at such a beautiful event. And thank you to Brett Goodwin for helping me with set up.

Days like these remind me why I love what I do. Surrounded by flowers, whimsy, and a wonderful community, this will always be one of my very favorite Ridgefield traditions.

I am a forever fan of Old Hollywood movies, especially the beautiful actresses of that era. Since I was a little girl, I spent my free time watching classic films and daydreaming about life in the 1940s and 1950s. The style, elegance, and fashion were simply incomparable.

You probably know that Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorites, as I post about her quite often. Some of my other favorites also include Ingrid Bergman, Grace Kelly, Katharine Hepburn, and Doris Day, to name just a few.

I love collecting and sourcing books, memorabilia, and treasures that celebrate their lives and legacies. The vintage fashion and handbags I curate are often a reflection of that timeless Old Hollywood glamour.

May and June are two of my favorite months not only because of the beautiful weather, but because they are filled with celebrations. From weddings and showers to graduations and proms, these months are made for gathering with the ones we love.

There is nothing prettier than a vintage handbag to make an occasion feel even more special. I have been collecting vintage handbags since I was quite young, and I truly enjoy sharing them. Each feels like a little work of art. I especially love the silk bags with intricate beading and needlework. Every piece tells a story of the time it came from and can make an outfit feel truly unique.

✨ Happy Monday from the Josef Originals Birthday Girls ✨

These are one of my all-time favorite collections, and they’re available at 📍 8 Prospect Street, Ridgefield.

I love vintage figurines just as much as vintage china plates, and these are truly something special. I’d love to see the tradition of gifting these for birthdays and milestones make a comeback. 💕

First created in the mid-1940s by Muriel Joseph George in California, these beloved figurines are known for their glossy ceramic finish, delicate 24K gold accents, and signature expressive eyes. Each “Birthday Girl” represents a special year in life.

Originally designed as meaningful birthday gifts, many families collected them year after year creating a beautiful tradition that could be passed down through generations. Earlier pieces are especially treasured for their fine detail and classic black eyes.

I hope you’ll read this little story🌸🌸 My mom and I have always adored vintage china especially delicate floral pieces. We’ve been collecting for as long as I can remember, and each piece feels like a tiny work of art. Every plate holds a bit of history, brings back cherished memories, and sparks so much joy.

One of my favorite things is how my mom makes it part of her everyday life. She enjoys dinner each night on a different beautiful plate. In my home, vintage china is always in bloom 🌸 It fills my shelves, adorns my walls, and is meant to be used and loved daily. It feels a little sad to think of these treasures tucked away in boxes or forgotten in cabinets when they’re so special and often far more beautiful than what we find today.

That’s what inspired Always In Bloom Studio 🌸 I love giving new life to old china and other cherished things. I enjoy helping you add color and joy to your home and wardrobe in a variety of different ways. Over the years, I’ve collected pieces with the intention of weaving them into everyday living by transforming petite plates and figurines into whimsical vignettes, larger pieces into elegant pedestal stands, teacups into sweet little gardens, and more. I’ve created bird feeders, jewelry holders, and tiny vessels for succulents 💕Truly, the possibilities are endless.

My newest creations are these ring keepers, but I’ve also shared a few of my favorite designs here. Looking ahead, I’m hoping to offer workshops where you can create your own beautifully functional china pieces. I’ll also be sharing parts of my collection including dishes, teacups, and more available for rent or purchase for your next special soirée through a new little service I’m putting together. Best of all prices will be fair for all to enjoy!💕
