Some dryer vents are easy and can be DIY jobs. Unfortunately for this homeowner, the vent was inside an interior wall and had a few 90 degree bends. Luckily we got it cleared and they're back to doing laundry!

This homeowner called because her clothes were, extremely hot to the touch. Upon inspection I found a long vent packed from start to finish.
We cleaned the vent and the dryer and she's good to go.

This is a booster fan. If you live in a tract home or attached townhome/condo there's a good chance you have one of these in the attic.
This homeowner has one buried in the ceiling between the first and second floor which is dangerous and unserviceable. We had the builder provide access so it could be serviced. This home is less than 3 years old.

If you, have a booster fan annual maintenance is even more important!!

***Challenge of the week***
Walk around your house and find your dryer vent. What do you see? I see clogged vents all the time that should be obvious but go unnoticed. If lint is sticking out of the vent, you can be sure your system is clogging up. Call me, I can help.
