Termites STILL ALIVE After Fumigation?! 😳🏠 Here’s How:

😳 Can termites still be alive after your house is tented for termites?
During our HowToPest LIVE, termite expert Jeff from Paradise Exterminators tells Craig about a surprising experience after a termite fumigation.
🏠 The house was tented and fumigated…
🐜 But afterward, live termite nymphs were discovered.
Jeff explains that specimens were taken to the entomology department at UC Riverside, where he says he learned something surprising about fumigation, termite eggs, and what can be observed after treatment.
Sulfuryl fluoride is highly effective against drywood termites when fumigation is performed correctly, but eggs are less susceptible to the fumigant than other insect life stages. EPA labeling notes that termite eggs may still hatch following exposure, although the young generally die afterward because they cannot survive without care from the colony's adults/workers. US EPA
