DISCOVERING SAGE: Dots, Dreams & Whimsy Things:
This collection represents more than a body of work. It is a journey of self-discovery. Created between 2024 and 2026, these pieces reflect a season of healing, growth, and creative exploration. What began as a personal outlet during a time of uncertainty evolved into a deeper understanding of myself as an artist and storyteller. Influenced by the rhythmic practice of whip shading in tattoo artistry, I developed an appreciation for patience, detail, and the beauty of building something meaningful one mark at a time.
Filled with whimsical characters, dreamlike scenes, playful details, and lighthearted moments, these works invite viewers to slow down, smile, and reconnect with the wonder of their inner child. Through illustration, surrealism, and imaginative storytelling, I celebrate curiosity, resilience, joy, and the simple pleasure of seeing the world through a lens of wonder.
