Adopt a senior by Holidays on the Hill🎄
🎄❤️ HOLIDAYS ON THE HILL HAS SOMETHING NEW THIS CHRISTMAS! ❤️🎄
This year, we're adding a little more Christmas magic to our community.
🎁 Introducing the Holidays on the Hill Adopt a Senior Program! 🎁
This is a brand-new pilot program for 2026, and we're starting by helping 20 local seniors age 65+ have a little more waiting for them under the tree this Christmas. ❤️
Because Christmas magic shouldn't have an age limit.
Everyone deserves to feel remembered at Christmas. This program is for local seniors who could use a little extra Christmas magic this year, whether that means a few things they need, something special they've been wishing for, or simply knowing someone in their community was thinking about them.
🎄 HOW IT WORKS
Seniors age 65+ can apply to participate in the program. A family member, friend, caregiver, or other trusted person may also help with the application, but the senior must know about and agree to participate.
We'll ask about things like sizes, favorite things, hobbies, needs, and a few Christmas wishes.
Once participants are selected, Holidays on the Hill will match each senior with a community member, family, group, workplace, or business who would like to Adopt a Senior for Christmas. 🎁
Private information will stay private. Adopters will receive only the information they need to shop for their senior.
❤️ WE'RE STARTING WITH 20
Because this is our first year, we're starting with 20 seniors so we can make sure we do this right.
But 20 doesn't necessarily have to be where we stop.
Depending on the response we receive and the number of people willing to adopt, we may be able to open additional spots. ❤️
If this pilot program goes well, our hope is to make Adopt a Senior an annual Holidays on the Hill tradition and grow it in the years ahead.
And don't worry, our Christmas Assistance Program for local children isn't going anywhere! Children's applications remain open through November 6. 🎄
We just believe there can be room under the HOTH Christmas tree for a little more magic. ❤️
