🚨 Help Us Support Hurricane Helene Victims!

York County Government is currently managing a donation drive to provide urgently needed supplies for those affected by Hurricane Helene.

We need your help! Come out and donate items to make a big difference for families in need.

📅 Happening Now Through October 18th, 8 AM - 2 PM

🎁 Donate Essential Supplies!

📍 Drop-Off Locations:

📝 Most Needed Items To Date:

• Safety and Essential Gear: Boots (sizes 8-12), chainsaw oil, generator oil, PPE, heavy-duty work gloves, socks, workwear, hand and foot warmers, ear plugs, heavy-duty trash bags, tarps, ropes, zip lock freezer bags, buckets, shovels, wheelbarrows, batteries
• Shelter & Home Supplies: Flashlights, batteries, tarps, tents, air mattresses
• Non-Perishable Food: Protein bars
• Baby Food & Formula (including lactose-free)
• Beverages: Electrolyte drink mix (e.g., Gatorade, powder form)
• Utensils & Disposable Items: Paper plates, napkins, plastic utensils, paper towels
• Outdoor Supplies: Charcoal, matches, small portable stoves, propane refills, camping gear (tents, sheets, pillows)
• Animal Feed: Dog, cat food (canned & dry), other pet feed
• Personal Hygiene Products: Soap, shampoo, feminine products
• Cleaning Supplies: Disinfectant wipes, bleach, hand sanitizers, plastic gloves, sponges, zip lock bags
• Medical Supplies: First-aid kits, bandages, eye wash, pain relievers (Tylenol, ibuprofen), children’s and adult versions
• Bedding & Clothing: Blankets, socks, underwear, coats (new only)

Here’s a local opportunity to support those affected by Hurricane Helene in the Asheville area 💙.

Donations are being accepted until tomorrow, October 5, until 5 PM at
Cox's Harley-Davidson of Rock Hill

Help bring hope and recovery to families in need. Donations will be delivered to Asheville that same evening!
