Happy 33rd Anniversary to Sincerely Yours!
December 1988 it all started with a friend asking where to go for business cards for her new business and as they say the rest is history.
When I started, orders were written by hand and mailed to the company for printing. Then came the fax machine which sped up the ordering process, it’s funny to think that even that’s pretty much a dinosaur now. Wow, have things changed.
These last 21 months I’ve taken the time to reflect on how fortunate I am to have so many wonderful clients and vendors who have become my friends. I love that I have worked with families on their Birth Announcements, Mitzvah and Wedding invitations. I’ve watched vendors pass the baton from parent to child to take over the reins of the family business. And then there is my family – when my daughter was little, she and her friends loved to play “stationery lady” in my office going through the books as if they were helping a client. My daughter now does all the marketing … do you really think I would have managed to keep up with social media?
COVID has also made me realize that I’m ready to retire from selling invitations. I’m looking forward to some free time to figure out what’s next. Don’t worry I’m not ready to give it all up quite yet, you’ll still be able to order all stationery and gift items just like you have in the past.
