MixUniX Delivers Factory Integrated Polyurethane Mixing Skid
Factory-integrated and inspected for faster on-site start-up
A polyurethane mixing skid supplied under the MixUniX brand has completed full factory integration and final inspection before shipment. The system arrives as an integrated and verified package, helping the customer move from delivery to production start-up in less time.
Key Specifications

β’ Mixing element: Two-stage frame-type (plate-frame) impeller
β’ Seal arrangement: Single mechanical seal
The polyurethane mixing skid is designed for a high-temperature, high-viscosity reaction process. Its large-diameter, close-clearance impeller generates bulk circulation throughout the vessel, while variable-frequency speed control accommodates changing conditions as viscosity rises from 1 cP to 35,000 cP and the liquid level continues to increase during the reaction.
For reliable operation at elevated temperatures, the mixer is fitted with a single mechanical seal. The seal was assembled separately and passed inspection at the factory before final integration.
The skid integrates the structural platform, valve assemblies, instrumentation, and control components. The automation package includes the control system, variable-frequency drive, and temperature monitoring. It displays operating speed and temperature and can transmit process signals to the customerβs Manufacturing Ex*****on System (MES).
After delivery, the skid will still require utility connections, control-system integration, electrical interlock verification, and operator training. Because the main equipment has already been assembled, integrated, and inspected before shipment, the required on-site installation and commissioning period can be substantially reduced. The delivery format does not eliminate all field work.
Before shipment, the impeller underwent static balancing, the mechanical seal was independently assembled and inspected, and the complete system passed its factory inspection. A factory inspection report was issued, and all product-contact surfaces were polished to Ra β€ 0.4 ΞΌm.
The customer therefore receives a fully integrated and verified system rather than individual components requiring extensive field assembly.
MixUniX brings GREATWALL MIXERS engineering and manufacturing capabilities to international customers through application-specific mixing solutions and integrated skid delivery. Completing assembly, integration, and testing before shipment helps reduce field risk, shorten commissioning schedules, and minimize rework.
