I'm taking a short break from the larger knitting needles and making something with a little bit smaller needle. My hands are appreciating this.

I love this combination of blues! The lighter blue has a nice sheen to it. This will be a hat and I'd like to make a matching cowl to go with it.

I'm also getting ready to sell my creations at the Royal Oak Arts and Crafts show November 21.

This hat and cowl (aka neck warmer) set is also done now. Unfortunately, my phone doesn't always pick up the colors well...

This hat and cowl (aka neck warmer) set is also done now.

Unfortunately, my phone doesn't always pick up the colors well. This is an off-white with a braid of off white and a beautiful coppery walnut braid.

The set is complete. 😃

The cowl is about halfway done and will have another braid at the other end.

Not only is this pretty, but it's also thick and warm.
