It’s an end of an era.
Holly has been with Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates for 8 years. And just like the wind called Vianne in the movie Chocolat…Holly, our amazing chocolatier has been called to far away lands!
I speak on behalf of the entire company when I say she will be desperately missed even though I’m excited and even a little envious of her new adventure. Holly brought calm, consistency, talent, creativity and discipline to our kitchen.
We took some fun trips…New York, Santa Barbara and Mexico City. I am so grateful I got to experience food with Holly in the kitchen and outside of it.
Not only did Holly work with chocolate she is also an extremely amazing writer and she helped me edit my Macaron Cookbook.
Holly I will be forever grateful. “For the Love Pastry”

Pumpkin Pie Macaron…A california farm, an American Pie in one mvery French Cookie is back NOW!
Full Belly Farm pumpkins are cut, roasted, pureed and whisked in our copper pot into pumpkin jam. Pie crust is made and whipped into buttercream. Macaron cookies are made, baked and cooled. Next a pie crust buttercream ring is piped with a big dollop of pumpkin jam in the center. The macaron is sandwiched and the very American very French cookie is born.

Available on our online store as well as our Folsom and Sacramento shops.

24 Carrot Farm had me out to pick blackberries for a blackberry jam for Jam and Pastry day coming next month and I also picked up a bunch of carrots for a very special chocolate for our Taste of California 2026 Advent Calendar. Alison from Alison’s Organics was nothing but inspirational today chatting over the harvest and what it takes to push forward and drive a small business! Grateful!
And…. Grateful for the cute guy behind the camera! Needed this day!
