the tips of your lashes are glued into place on a silicone shield. this is what forms the curl pattern! then a perm solution, a neutralizer and a tint is applied. when it’s all done your lashes are set free from the shields with a little nourishing oil. the whole process takes about an hour and is surprisingly relaxing. guess what everyone’s least favorite service in hair school is? PERMS! never thought back then that i would be doing perms on people’s eyelashes 🤯
