Well… apparently I haven’t posted in a while. 😂
I have a pretty good excuse.
I’ve been a little busy **becoming a partner at the International Market!** 🎉
What started as me having a space to share my art has turned into something much bigger. I’ve been spending a LOT of time at the shop helping out, meeting vendors, recruiting new small businesses, setting up products, and generally doing all the things that happen behind the scenes when you’re building something pretty special.
Which means… my poor little social media account has been sitting over here like:
👀 “Um… remember me?” 👀
I promise I haven’t stopped creating or my energy studies.
I’ve sketched out my next painting, inspired by a young customer who stopped by the studio. I love how inspiration finds me in the most unexpected ways.
And then there are "the stories".
Oh, the stories.
Every time someone comes into the shop, there seems to be another beautiful, funny, touching, or downright unexpected story that I think, "I need to write this down so I can share it!"
And then… I don't. 🤦♀️
So I have a growing collection of stories in my head that I'm determined to start sharing again.
I'm also learning something really interesting about my art business: people are finding and buying my work even when I'm not standing there telling the story behind it. And that makes me pretty happy.
I've had repeat customers come back for more. 💛
One of my daughter's friends bought one of my bookmarks... which absolutely made my day!
And I recently sold a print through my website to someone in Tennessee!🎉
Apparently my artwork has decided to travel farther than I have. 😂
I'm incredibly grateful for every person who stops to look, asks about the inspiration, takes something home, comes back again, or simply follows along here.
So… that's where I've been.
Building. Creating. Meeting people. And occasionally remembering that I should probably post something on social media. 😂
