Did you know that we host a weekly story time?! Because we do!

You and your kiddos are welcome to join us every Saturday at 10:45 am, for First Chapter Story Time, where we set up a cozy reading/listening area (complete with cushions and coloring activities) and listen to Michael, our resident storyteller - or an esteemed guest - read to us one (or two) of their favorite picture books!

We look forward to seeing you at story time!

Pssst. Silent Book Club is next week. See you there. 👀

Every second Thursday of each month from 5 to 6pm, we're staying open a bit later, and inviting you to escape the noise and come read with us in the cozy, contemplative atmosphere of the bookstore. (It is the perfect way to be both in introvert and an extrovert at the same time!)

Our comfy seating is limited, so we encourage you to bring your own cushions, beanbags, blankets, etcetera. With that in mind, grab a book, come by Next Chapter, and let's get reading!

CHEESE-LOUISE! It is just TWO weeks until the first ever Books & Bites meeting! 🧀📖

Join us, and , on Wednesday, Sept 16th at 5pm, when we will be kicking off the brand new book club, discussing American Cheese by (and with!) , and sampling a custom cheese board , curated by our favorite cheese mongers!

✏️📖🏫It is officially back to school season! 🏫📖✏️

Which is one of the many reasons that we are reading, "Original Sins: The (Mis)education of Black and Native Children and the Construction of American Racism" by Eve L. Ewing (.ewing), for our Social Justice Book Club!

Join us next week, on Wednesday, September 9th at 5pm, where will be discussing the book, along with brainstorming positive actions we can make within the community!

They say never read your reviews (which is generally solid advice), but when we get a glowing, 5 star review, we can't help but want to share the love!

The review: "Wow. I found 8 new titles here I hadn't come across and I go to bookstores wherever I travel. There's a comfy couch next to the Staff's picks where I easily spent an hour just perusing the incredible curation. And then another hour and half browsing the rest of the store. A must-go if you're a book lover."
