Every reader is different; my own approach to tarot is two-fold. First, I believe that there is a psychological aspect to tarot readings. I spend time talking with my clients to get to know them and to understand the concerns that they are seeking guidance for. Because images appeal to our subconscious minds, the artwork of the cards sometimes move my clients and help them to make connections on t
heir own—and this is great! My readings are designed to be an open conversation between myself and my client. Second, I believe there are greater things at work in the universe that humanity doesn’t quite comprehend. Perhaps it is “magic” or maybe it is a “subtle science” that we don’t fully understand yet. Regardless of the name, I believe there is an aspect of spirituality and connection exists in the world. During my sessions, I aim to connect with this higher power (God, Source, Spirit, Ancestors, Guides, Higher Beings, or whatever you’d like to call it) in order to help my clients move through the issue they’ve brought to me in a positive, loving way. I have found that many times, inexplicable things happen at my table and I am able to know and understand things without having an explanation for why. My goal is to use my gifts along with the unique tool of tarot cards to provide a safe, protected space where you are free to share as much as you are comfortable with so that you can process emotions, look at situations differently, and ultimately heal and grow as a person.
