This week we visited Le Patissier in Corvallis so we could get some delicious treats before they close next week (9/26). Their bakery holds such a special place in our hearts. We used to go on dates there on weekend mornings in college (if we could get up in time đŸ˜‚). When we got engaged we immediately knew we wanted them to make our cake, and even though they were in between locations they were happy to give us the cake of our dreams. We brought them a photo and a bouquet to say thank you for 20 years of tasty goodness and love. Wishing them all the best in the world!

Come stop by our stand this weekend and build your bouquet! $10 gets you a jar, 10-12 flowers, and an accent bow. Bring a friend, make a bouquet for a loved one, get the kids involved. There will be a guide on how to build a cute custom bouquet and if course some pre -made bouquets will be available also. Keeping in the theme of "pop up" Danny is making some delicious homemade pear pop-tarts for the stand. See you there!

State fair update! I won 1st place for my Basil, Dill, and zinnias(and 4th place for my zinnias) and second place for my bouquet. Danny did not place for his bread or cookies, which was honestly shocking. When we saw the score sheets we were disappointed at how many points were taken off for small things but you live and learn. Next year we are going to do a table setting because that looks way too fun. Award winning flowers and robbed of awards bread and cookies will be available this weekend in the stand.

The flower garden is really showing off, though this time of year everything starts to look a bit wild and overwhelming. I am definitely going to have plenty of flowers for a make and take bouquet cart this weekend, if I can get my flower cart assembled... stay tuned.

I just got my hands on the cutest cart(not pictured: this one is just an example) and am really wanting to do a make-and-take, bloom bar, DIY bouquet event in the coming weeks as I will have more blooms than I can really reasonably make into bouquets. Would anyone like to visit a "Bloom Bar" type set up next to the stand sometime?

Working on flowers for a friends wedding this weekend. I made my own bouquets for my wedding almost 20 years ago and this brings back memories of how much I loved playing with flowers even then! I was so worried the rain would ruin my flowers, and I did have to supplement from a dahlia farm nearby because the lack of sun kept my blooms closed up! who's excited to see the finished products?
