I have absolutely loved The Boys of Brayshaw series. This is such a cute read. You have your classic heroine who moves to a new city, meets the bad boys and trouble continues to follow her. She is a bada** who believes in loyalty above all else. Absolutely obsessed with this series! You will fall head over heels for Cap, Maddox and Royce.

Help: 🆘

Ok I officially DNF’d the book The Predator. I hate not finishing books because I just feel unfulfilled. But I grabbed a book that’s been sitting on my TBR for a while called Cruel King by Rina Kent and literally didn’t put it down until I finished it! Definitely made the right choice by not finishing The Predator.

I need help choosing my next read: I’ve been in a Dark Romance mood lately so give me all your recommendations!

I want to know if anyone has read any of the following books and if they are worth reading.

1. The Poisoner
2. The Deathless One
3. Kissed by the Gods

Ok I just started this book 📖….

I need to know if anyone has read it and what your thoughts were? I have read books by Runyx and loved them, however I’m on the verge of DNF’ing this book. I’ve heard good things and love a good Mafia romance but man.

Here’s my hangups:

🔫 Soooo much repetition
🔫 The continual use of the MMC full name “Tristan Caine” seriously I’m 53% though and at least 200 times
🔫 Just the FMC’s name in general
🔫 Not a lot of dialogue between characters
🔫 SO MUCH STARING not enough talking
🔫 Tons of grammatical errors

I want so badly to love this. Is it worth continuing the series? Does it get better? Or do I cut my losses and DNF?

Book Series Challenge📚

While I was filling this out I realized I have so many series that I still need to read and finish! I’m ashamed to admit that I still haven’t finished the Fourth Wing series. I can’t bring myself to read Onyx Storm before the 4th book comes out.

If you like Dark romance and have not read The Ruinous Love Trilogy you need to read it ASAP! Don’t just read but listen 🎧. It is seriously top tier I’ve read it multiple times and got my hubby obsessed. He’s read it more than I have.

June Reading Wrap-Up ☀️

I had some fun reads this month. I’ve been on a purely romance kick this month. I just finished my re-read of Direbound and I loved it just as much the second time! Now I’m finally ready to read Fury Bound. I think my favorite new read this month was Every Summer After, it was everything you want in a book. You get the yearning, friends to lovers, second chance romance it makes you feel everything!

I’m only like a month behind but here’s my May reading wrap up!

My top read for the month of May was absolutely My Dreadful Darling. It’s incredibly dark, I mean it is an H.D Carlton book but oh man I felt all the feels. I 💯 recommend if you like dark romance/ bully romance.

I’m still currently deep in the world of Beasts of the Briar by Elizabeth Helen. I didn’t love the beginning of this series. It’s gotten better as it goes along but it took me a bit to get into it. It’s a Beauty and the Beast retelling as a why choose. Some of it is absolutely cheesy but if you don’t mind a bit of cheese I would recommend these as well!

Kings of Sin- Ana Huang

Billionaire Romances are a must if you’ve never read one! It’s just a fun guilty little pleasure. I’m almost all the way through this serious and I’m here for it! I love Ana Huang’s writing and have loved every book I’ve read by her! So if you’re looking for a fun little palette cleaning read, grab this series! They are interconnected stand alones.

Ok I need to talk about this for a min…

I binge read Every Summer After this past weekend and absolutely LOVED it. I felt all the feels and just honestly felt like I need to go read every Carly Fortune book ever written now.

Jump forward to yesterday when I was so excited to binge watch Every Summer After. I have been on my Off Campus high and just so excited for this show.

Here’s my recommendation to you: if you want to watch the show, DO NOT READ THE BOOK. Or if you’ve already read the book go in and push out any thoughts about this being a book that you’ve read. This show is literally an entire different series than the book I read. Still good… however it will make you mad to no end if you compare it to the book. I don’t want to post any spoilers.
