Ok I need to talk about this for a min…

I binge read Every Summer After this past weekend and absolutely LOVED it. I felt all the feels and just honestly felt like I need to go read every Carly Fortune book ever written now.

Jump forward to yesterday when I was so excited to binge watch Every Summer After. I have been on my Off Campus high and just so excited for this show.

Here’s my recommendation to you: if you want to watch the show, DO NOT READ THE BOOK. Or if you’ve already read the book go in and push out any thoughts about this being a book that you’ve read. This show is literally an entire different series than the book I read. Still good… however it will make you mad to no end if you compare it to the book. I don’t want to post any spoilers.

I read some amazing books in April! So many 5⭐️ reads.

If you haven’t read The Windy City Series and you like sports romance this was top tier for me! I absolutely loved every single book. I don’t think I can pick 1 favorite but my top 2 were Rewind it Back and In Her Own League. Definitely a series worth buying and re-reading.

Bad Bishop was a 3.5⭐️ for me. I really had a hard time with the FMC’s age and innocence and how everyone thought she was mentally disabled yet still sold her off to be married. Just didn’t do it for me. Twisted Pawn however was more of a 4.25⭐️ I enjoyed their story much more. I loved their banter and love Tierney. However I liked The Kiss Thief more than both!

As far as The Wolf King and The Night Prince… oh my gosh. Yes please! Loved this fantasy series and will rave about it moving forward. Callum in book 1 is 🧑‍🍳💋. However if you lean a little more to enemies to lovers, Blake in book 2 gives you everything❤️‍🔥. Add this series to your TBR asap.

📚Happy World Book Day 📖

It’s the best day of the year. I just wanted to give a shout out to the ACOTAR series. This is the series that brought on my love for reading. I have never and I mean NEVER enjoyed reading. I tried so often when I was growing up and finally when I was a teenager I read Twilight and thought it changed everything…. I was wrong. I maybe read 5 books after graduating high school, until about 2 years ago when I picked up A Court of Thorns and Roses. It’s all been sunshine and rainbows since then. Last year alone I read 210 books! Like WHAT?!
