“So glad I could finally support you!”

I just wrapped up another pop up with the lovely folks at The Underground Events and met not one but two people who follow on Instagram and made an effort to come out to share invaluable resources or buy from my booth! The number one question I’m getting is when is the brick and mortar opening. And my answer is, hopefully very, very soon! I’m meeting with a potential partner this month and if all goes well I can announce the first location during October for the Salt Lake Book Festival & Utah Humanities events I’ll be apart of! If not, watch this space!

“We’re all rooting for you!”

Last night, I popped up at yet another unique location, part hotel, part café, and part indoor skate park!?

Even when I’m solo dolo, trying to squeeze into a teeny tiny 4 x 4 space, I’m always excited and amazed to run into people supporting Crowne Books.

From the first customer of the day being a returning customer I first met at my Juneteenth pop up, seeing vendors from former events, and hearing the familiar chorus of, “I follow you on Instagram!” (and this time an added I read about you on City Cast Salt Lake), the community continues to show up and show out!

I got a chance to shop some amazing local vendors this go around, including Aspen Gold || Handmade Resin Jewelry by Sarah , Mors & Grey Cat Syndicate ! And a lucky winner will get Nalo Hopkinson’s novel for free in the group one giveaway.

September and October is jammed packed with pop ups and events, including my three biggest of fall: Utah Humanities Book Festival with our spin-off event featuring local Utah Black authors SAHAEL® & Layna James | Romance Author , Salt Lake Book Festival & Crowne Books’ very own Fangs & Fiction!
