April is Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month (SAAPM). I know this post may make many people feel uncomfortable but the reality is that every 68 seconds an adult is sexually assaulted and every 9 minutes that victim is a child.

I’m part of the Survivors Sexual Assault Taskforce for the Office of the Governor. The task force mission is to establish a survivor-centered, trauma-informed, collaborative, and coordinated response to sexual violence experienced by adults and children in Texas.
Please review and share the following Your Rights as an Adult Survivor that was written by and for adult survivors of sexual assault in Texas. I pray that you or your child never have to utilize this information 🙏🏼
